10/10 - 13 of us stayed for a 50th celebration. The property is absolutely gorgeous (even nicer than the pictures look) with stunning views and plenty of space. The 7 bedrooms (6 with en-suites) are lovely and perfect for a large group. The kitchen is very well equipped with crockery, glasses, pots, pans etc. The house was very cosy and a lovely place to relax or celebrate a special occasion. Absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay again. - Reed - Sept 24

9/10 - Views from the property are beautiful. Lovely spacious bedrooms with great en-suite facilities and a super layout for a large gathering. Contacted the owner a couple of times who was very quick to respond positively to our requests. As the property is so spacious, perhaps the addition of something like a bar football would be good. - Phillips - April 24

10/10 - Hill View met all our hopes for the family gathering and once again a Sleeps 12 venue came up trumps. The property was clean, spacious, warm and welcoming and Alice was particularly helpful in making us feel at home. The kitchen facilities were excellent and ideal for cooking meals for the large family. However, for some it was not an easy place to find along narrow country roads (part of the fun!) - Rowland
10/10 - The property was exactly what we wanted and exceeded expectations. Beautifully renovated and converted and had everything we needed. Beds super comfortable and fantastic all to have private facilities. - Lock
9/10 - One of my daughters has an above knee amputation so we chose the property as wheelchair friendly and inside it really was, however we needed our portable ramp for her to access the property and the gravel made it a challenge to get across the car park. The children loved the outdoor space and we all loved the views. Problems were speedily attended to. We had a lovely stay and loved the property and the views. Thank you. - Hartwell

10/10 - We all agreed that the house was perfect and came with magnificent views over the beautiful Devon countryside and in such a peaceful location. The decor was very pleasing and layout to the house was spacious. Plenty of room inside and out to meet all the needs of our party of 13. We were there to celebrate my daughter's 40th Birthday and it was just perfect. My five grandchildren (ages 13 years to 8 months) enjoyed the outside for games and we enjoyed two evenings outside cooking on the BBQ. It was helpful having two dishwashers and the utility room was a real plus too. Plenty of room for food in fridges and freezers. The flowers were a lovely touch on arriving. My daughter had a wonderful time celebrating her birthday & we all agree that we'd love to come back to Hill View. Highly recommend this accomodation. Recommened days out to Beer, Seaton and Lyme Regis they all had lovely dog friendly areas. - Tindall

10/10 - Hill View was amazing. Such a beautiful property with the most breathtaking view. We enjoyed getting cosy with the log burner at the end of the day and lying in the hot tub enjoying the view was a real treat. We will definitely come back! Lyme Regis was beautiful, as was the walk from Beer to Branscombe. We would definitely recommend the Seaton tramway. - Stapely
10/10 - Lovely, relaxing holiday. Surrounding area great to explore and all dog friendly. Visit Beer, Lyme Regis and Sidmouth. All lovely locations. - Davies
10/10 - The accommodation was excellent, beautifully designed and equipped ideal for a large family group. The seven en-suite bedrooms are modern and very comfortable. There is plenty of space to relax both indoors and out all benefiting from fantastic views of the valley and local countryside. Very good communication from the owners prior to arrival. We visited Beer, Sidmouth for a stroll on the promenade, Seaton Tramway was a well organised attraction. I would recommend parking at Colyton where there is free parking. Then a walk along Seaton seafront before the return journey. We had a day out in Lyme Regis. We highly recommend the day boat trip by Stuart Line from Exmouth to Torquay and Brixham you either have 3 hrs in Torquay or 2 hours in Brixham before your return journey excellent value at £14 we even saw dolphins in Lyme Bay. - Nowosielski
9/10 - Great location and fantastic holiday home. The hot tub was enjoyed a lot. Beer and Sidmouth are lovely and the cliff walk from Beer to Branscombe is fantastic. - Adams
10/10 - Hill View is the perfect place for a family holiday. The central living area allows people to join together, whilst having their own space in the range of roomy bedrooms. The facilities are excellent. The accommodation is beautifully designed and comfortable and the views from the open plan living space cannot be fully appreciated from the photographs; they are very beautiful. Looking over the landscape from the hot tub as the sun sets was particularly relaxing and a good opportunity to reflect on an unforgettable and fantastically fun holiday! Beer is a very pretty village with a lovely beach. We had two wonderful days in Sidmouth and particularly enjoyed visiting Jacob's Ladder and the delightful cafe in the Clock Tower. Lyme Regis stunning too; a beautiful coastline with a sandy beach bustling with families. Many truly unforgettable sunny days spent swimming in the sea, enjoying the sunshine and admiring the views. - Larter
10/10 - Spacious house, hot tub with views. Lyme Regis has something for everyone. - West
10/10 - We all enjoyed our stay. The barn was beautiful and in such a quiet location. We also enjoyed the hot tub! We can recommend days out to Beer, Seaton Tram, Lyme Regis. - Newcombe
10/10 - The house is amazing. It was a great way of spending christmas as a family. The layout of the house was to die for. We will certainly be looking at booking again. Attention to details was good the little things like handwash, flowers, Christmas tree and just a nice welcome note. It wasn’t a problem getting additional fire logs and it was even better on our day off for the owners to come and have a chat. I must admit, the pictures online do not do the place any justice, you have to see it to believe it and enjoy the stay. I have a hot tub at my own place but it has never been used, so to see all the children and adults enjoy it, was amazing. We couldn’t get the children out of it as they wanted to go into it. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Definitely, although it was Christmas time and the weather was wet and unfriendly, a walk down the valley and hills was well worth it for the fresh air. The coastal areas we visited were amazing even on the 26th, the walk around the sea front was all needed. We never really wanted to leave the house as it was very comfortable and cosy, but it was well worth it. - Fulton
10/10 - The whole process was pretty faultless to be honest. We will definitely come back to you for our next group break. Thank you for all your help. Beer is a lovely fishing village to mooch about in. - McDonald
10/10 - House was great, clean and really impressive quality. - Lincoln
9/10 - The house is absolutely brilliant for a large group. This was for a 70th birthday but I am sure it would be enjoyed by all generations. - Davies
9/10 - The property was a fantastic location for us to have a very enjoyable half-term. - Ryland
10/10 - It was a fabulous property, so handy having the utility room with extra fridge & freezer in. A really well thought out & designed house. It is hard to find properties that have all bedrooms that can be either a twin or double & en-suite. It is a great find. Am sure we will be back. Due to the size of group that could accommodate the house, I would recommend 2 kettles & teapots. The bathroom that is not attached to a bedroom could do with a lock on the door. We did the Branscombe to Beer walk, which was lovely. - Kelly
9/10 - The property was in a beautiful setting and is extremely well designed and equipped. The only improvements we can suggest is that it would be helpful if there was a shelf or shower tidy so that you don't have to bend down to pick up shower gel, shampoos etc. It would also be helpful to have some hooks on or near the door in the bedrooms for dressing gowns etc. We can recommend days out to Sidmouth and Lyme Regis. - Tewkesbury
