The House
Step into a light and airy hallway and straightaway it feels so welcoming. To the right is the open-plan kitchen/dining room, very well-equipped, relaxed modern country style. Tuck into a breakfast of bacon and eggs, or a hearty Sunday roast, flop onto the sofas when you’ve had your fill. Gather for a scrumptious celebration feast cooked by private chefs (see Extras).
Off the kitchen there's a utility area with a stable door to the courtyard. At the other end of the hall is Bedroom 1 with an ensuite shower room.
The living room is upstairs, taking full advantage of the glorious views across the rolling hills. Snuggle up for a family movie night, in the summer, leave the French doors open and let the sunshine fall into the room, step out on to the glass fronted veranda, wander down to the garden or out to the pool.
Left of the living room is Bedroom 2, with an ensuite shower room, the other end are Bedrooms 3 and 4 and a family bathroom. Bedroom 5 is on the ground floor, next to Bedroom 1. Good to know is that all beds are zip and link (super king/king size or twin).
Outside paths lead through the landscaped gardens to the pool terrace* (oh, those views, those views!); to one side there’s outdoor seating, a breeze hut gives a tropical vibe.
Enjoy yourselves to the max - play outdoor table tennis, soak in the hot tub, cosy up in the BBQ lodge to toast marshmallows, sizzle sausages and swap stories. Younger folk will love the play area where there's a trampoline and a play fort with a climbing wall, swings and a slide. Talk about something for all ages!
*The pool is shared with the owners, though they rarely use it. Exclusive use is available at an extra charge.
