The house is so fresh and airy, interiors are contemporary and glamourous, yet it’s still homely. There are 9 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a games room/TV room, and a private indoor pool. The house stands in private grounds with a huge garden, off a leafy lane in the peaceful village of Charlton Kings. Cheltenham town centre is a mere 10 minutes away with all its Regency elegance, it’s vibrant shopping quarters, museums, galleries and parks. There are countless places to eat, from cool cafes and friendly pubs to fine dining restaurants and brasseries.
Cheltenham Racecourse is just over 2 miles from Goldway, so this is ideal group accommodation for the Cheltenham Festival, held over 4 days in March each year. Get up early, have a swim, get your finery on, jump in the car to the racecourse (or get a cab) and have a jolly good time! Couldn’t be more convenient!
It’s only a short drive and you can be in the Cotswolds National Landscape. Oh, what a day, to go exploring this beautiful part of the country! Time drifts softly back to days when the world was a more peaceful place as you pootle through dreamy countryside and the most perfect little villages, like something from a jigsaw puzzle box. Walls of mellow Cotswold stone, roses round the doors, windows peeping beneath the thatch, flowers tumbling over the garden walls. Lovely, lovely, lovely.

Venture over to The Cotswold Wildlife Park, to Birdland Park & Gardens or Crocodiles of the World, get active on the waters at the Cotswold Water Park, take in the history and splendour of Sezincote and Sudeley Castle, the ancientness of Chedworth Roman Villa. There are activities and golfclubs and walks and cycle trails, so whoever you are, whatever you like to do, you’ll find something close by.
There’s so much we love about Goldway, the cool and current vibe, the sleekness, the sophistication; the full height bifold doors that pull back to merge indoors and outdoors seamlessly – in the pool hall, at both ends of the dining room, in the living room and the kitchen/breakfast room. We love the garden, all lush and leafy, with lots of places to sit, and it’s so private – this is such a sunshiney place to be in the summer, but really, anytime of year is good because there’s plenty to keep all ages happy even if the weather’s misbehaving.
