Haselbury Plucknett is an attractive Hamstone village right on the River Parrett, 2 miles from Crewkerne and 6 miles from Yeovil. It has all the quintessential Englishness a Somerset village should have – a village green, a handsome church, a very good pub, The White Horse, and charming street names like Bramble Lane and Gentlemans Row. There are several footpaths in and around the village so it’s a good place to start a walk from and explore the wonderful countryside. Nearby is Haselbury Mill which does a cracking Sunday carvery.
