Berry House Reviews
10/10 - We loved the pool the kids wouldn’t get out! A hot tub would’ve been nice for the older generation but we all had an amazing time. Will is on hand 24/7 the house is beautiful and we had everything we needed, highly recommend this house. We went to the nearest village the pub did a amazing roast and the owners were lovely. We went to Clark’s village which was under an hour away. - Palmer Family
10/10 - We actually loved the house so much we spent the weekend relaxing and enjoying the pool! - Dark Party
10/10 - Berry House was fabulous - perfect for our girly get together! We explored the grounds and used the pool but didn't venture much further as we were there to relax. - Plumb Party
10/10 - It was all lovely we had a wonderful time, it was beyond our expectations. The archery and clay pigeon shooting was great. - Mclaughlin Family
9/10 - A beautiful house in a stunning location. Attention to details such as lovely books, magazines and quality toiletries etc made all the difference. I found the booking process simple and straightforward and the staff in the office were very helpful in answering any queries. I think it would be useful to know in advance that the only real cooker is an Aga. There was a portable electric ring and an electric oven but when cooking for a large number you needed the aga which can be very challenging if you are not used to it. I used a number of the suppliers listed on your website and found them all to be very good. All in all we had a wonderful weekend and would love to come back! - Burrows Family
9/10 - We would recommend visiting Tarr Steps and Wimbleball Lake during your stay. Both are suitable for buggy walks. We would have liked some information about the house. - Critchley Family - November 2017
10/10 - Could have done with a few cleaning materials other than that - FAULTLESS! Also visit Wookey Hole and Dunster on days out. - Goodwin Group
10/10 - The house was fantastic and although fully occupied there was ample space and facilities. We formed part of a wedding party down from the north of England. When not getting ready for or recovering from the said event, a gentle swim in the luxurious indoor heated pool or indeed a game of pool was just what was needed to steady the nerves. The host was gracious and at hand to help with any problems, of which thankfully there were none. Only wish we could have stayed longer but school terms are unyielding these days. Highly recommended. - Dobson Party
10/10 - A beautiful country house with marvellous views. Fitted out to a very high standard. Excellent attention to detail by the owner. Heated swimming pool much bigger than photos on website suggests. Always warm and much enjoyed by everyone. No suggestions for improvement from us. Very enjoyable stay, all of us want to come again. We would recommend a walk around Tarr Steps, Minehead and the steam railway. Lynton and Lynmouth and Dunster Castle and village. - Weston Family
10/10 - The weekend surpasses all expectations and receives 12/10. The relevant paragraph refuses to let me type that!!! How could you possibly improve the experience? The house and facilities are so wonderful that I am afraid that half of us didn't venture further than the front gate! We will definitely be booking through Sleeps 12 in the future. - Howard Party
8/10 - I enjoyed the new experience of cooking on the aga. The house and swimming pool were great and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Great house for a large party 15 of us were able to sit round the dining room table which would be great for a Christmas break. Tarr Steps near Dulverton had a wonderful circular walk by the river. Wimbleball Lake good for children with an adventure playground and lovely walks and picnics. - Mann Family
9/10 - A fantastic house, feels like a home rather than a rental. All facilities well thought out and a great range of activities on site. Be warned taxis are very expensive, plan food in advance as you could get stranded hungry! - Warrington Family
9/10 The ponies at Berry House were great! We enjoyed days out to Tarr Steps (great cream teas at the pub there) Wimbleball Lake (try the kayaking) The Bear Trail at Cullompton and Watchet via the West Somerset Railway. - Naish Family
10/10 - Our family weekend at Berry House was a joint 6th, 40th and 70th birthday celebration. The house slept us all very comfortably and we particularly enjoyed the different "break out" rooms. The most used facility was the pool! The weather was magnificent, so we were outside much of the time, but can imagine the house being great for winter House-parties too. I can't think of any complaints; apart from not realising the Aga wasn't turned up enough to cook the food through on the Saturday night (rectified in time for Sunday lunch!) So we were glad of the alternative, electric oven. - Swift Family
9/10 - A beautiful house in stunning surroundings. Watchet was a lovely trip for a couple of hours. Very happy memories of a lovely weekend away. Thank you. - Locke Party
10/10 - Thoroughly enjoyed the house and the amenities that were provided. Can't fault it at all. We would highly recommend the butchers at Wiveliscombe for the meat for the barbeque. - Cusworth
9/10 - We enjoyed the space at Berry House and facilities, especially the pool. Beds were so comfortable! We visited Tarr Steps. - King
10/10 - Just wanted to say we had a fantastic time at Berry House, the family that own the house were very welcoming. We went with 16 friends and the house had everything we could wish for. We will go away with special memories! Thank you so much for making those special little extras when we arrive - that goes along way to me in the hospitality trade. Great recommendation. - Clifford
10/10 - From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome and very fortunate to be staying in such a wonderful property set in the most amazing surroundings. - Hendry
10/10 - We felt very privileged to be the first people to stay at Berry House. An amazing welcome when we arrived. The house has been done up beautifully. It suited all our needs with a lovely swimming pool, pool table, table football and a lot of games. The children and adults had a wonderful time, there is plenty of space for everyone. I loved the peace and quiet of the lounge! I am sure Berry House will be a special place for everybody who stays here. Well done Will and Flora, everything was perfect. - Creak
