Valleys Reach - Somerset

Valleys Reach is tucked away deep in the countryside at the edge of a village on the borderlands of Somerset and Devon. The pace of life slows down here and it’s so incredibly peaceful. The River Tone slips gracefully along in the valley, unspoilt views roll on for miles and miles across the landscape. Dating back to the 14th century, this rambling old house has been lovingly renovated over the years and now offers unique and homely group accommodation for 14 guests over 7 bedrooms; an adjacent annexe is available for 2 adults at an extra charge (extra charge - see our Extras page). Timeless country charm seeps from every corner, furnishings are all in keeping and there is so much character, with inglenook fireplaces, window seats and exposed timbers.

This is a special place to stay for holidays with friends and family, and for peaceful celebrations with the people you love most in the world. It’s a holiday house for all ages, with a games room, a hot tub and large grounds to play in; soak beneath the stars, dine on the terrace in springtime with the scent of wisteria in the air. Walk in the nature reserve on the doorstep, visit family attractions and enjoy fun filled activities close by, just a few miles away is Exmoor National Park where days out and adventures await you.
