10/10 - Everything was fantastic including the communication with house keeper - she was lovely and gave us some ideas on where to eat too. The pool guy also made my boy's day by saying we could keep some leftover inflatables in the pool, so he had a blast during the week! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property and stay again soon! - Marshall - Nov 24

9/10 - Great facilities, exceptionally clean and the pool and barbecue area were amazing. The service we received from Sleeps12.com was first class and friendly. I asked lots of questions as I was taking my baby grandson with us and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The only small issue which did not bother me personally, but I was one for the younger family members -was that the connectivity of the Internet was not brilliant. Personally I believe a holiday is about getting away from it all plus it was a rural setting. Perhaps families with teens should ensure they have plenty of data on their devices! It was a great holiday home and very spacious...comfy beds too! - O'Hagen

9/10 - Lynton and Lynmouth. A lovely and interesting day was spent exploring these two small towns including a trip on the funicular railway and reading all about the tragic floods of 1952. Our only gripe was the noxious fumes that the plant room sent out 24/7 which meant that room 1's bathroom window could not be opened neither the window in room 2 for fear of the fumes coming into the rooms. These fumes were also very prevalent within the pool area. - Porteous

Response: "We are sorry for any inconvience caused by the boiler having an error. It is being remedied as I write this." - Owner

10/10 - Accommodation was beautiful!! Staff went above and beyond and were so accommodating, would definitely stay again and recommend!! - Stoner

10/10 - We really liked Minehead and went to a great pub on the harbour-side which served excellent food. We also visited Somerset Boat Centre and took a day boat up the canal for the day. The pool and bbq were great and all the loungers. The kids enjoyed the play area. It would have been better if the downstairs bathroom had obscured glass as we had to have the blind closed and window because of fumes from pool pipe. A clock in living room would be useful. Otherwise excellent 10/10. - Coombs

10/10 - Swimming pool was the best, hob on cooker could have been faster as it took a long time to heat up. Ovens fine. We visited Dunster, steam train to Minehead and Cleeve Abbey. - Bussingham

9/10 - The pool was very useful during bad weather The outside facilities were excellent but poor weather limited our use. The busy roads with no pedestrian access meant that cars had to be used wherever we went. This was disappointing as we would have loved to get involved in walks from Foxcombe in the local area. - Tierney

9/10 - Kids really enjoyed the pool. Good BBQ which we used twice. A small matter but the gate to the waste bin was difficult to open and close. Plenty of parking (we had 4 cars). No welcome book with information but this was apparently being re-printed (not a major issue). - Miles
