10/10 - Well equipped house, catering for all needs. - Matton
10/10 - I thought the house was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable with good quality bed linen. The pool and table tennis were a real hit with all the family. We can recommend horse riding in West Bagborough. - Walburn
10/10 - Really enjoyed having the swimming pool!!!! - Brant
9/10 - We had a great time and the house was ideal for our family gathering. As we catered for ourselves we found the kitchen a little small and lacking in work surfaces but the bbq was excellent. We would come again. We visited Tarr Steps.- Westwood
9/10 - We didn't leave the property. Larger televisions in the bedrooms. - Langley
10/10 - The property was really well equipped and it was a lovely touch to leave a welcome cake. The one and only concern was the tiled surround in the pool room. It was very slippery when wet. - Brickell
10/10 - The pool was brilliant, lovely clean bedrooms with beautiful en suites. Loved the kitchen too. We will definitely be booking again. We loved it here. - Morris
9/10 - Cake was a lovely welcome. - Gaskin
9/10 - Great house. Perfect for our family get together. - Nicholls
9/10 - Minehead and Dunster Castle and town. Very quiet in the winter! Taunton has good shops but mainly outdoors. Heating was very hot upstairs. Wasn’t sure how to adjust this. - Slater
Response: "There are separate thermostats for upstairs and downstairs and these can be adjusted accordingly. Each radiator can also be adjusted individually." - Sleeps12
9/10 - The whole house and the facilities were amazing for a large group holiday. We can recommend walking the Quantock Hills. - Woods
9/10 - The house and pool are wonderful, clean and nicely decorated. Everyone in our party was very happy with it. Only (minor) negatives were the Aga - makes a lot of noise and takes up valuable kitchen worktop space - Hambley
9/10 - Lovely trip with the family. The children really enjoyed the cottage and would highly recommend Sleeps12 for their professional exchange. - Khatun
8/10 - Kids enjoyed the pool, the house was very warm and welcoming. - Islam
9/10 - Really equipped house. Everything was there. We went to Bruton and Castle Cary. Both were fantastic. - Hallam
10/10 - The accommodation was extremely well thought out and equipped - we didn't need to bring anything except clothes and food. The freedom for both small children and dogs in a safe environment leads to a really relaxing time for all. - Kipps
10/10- Helen the manager attended to some minor problems we had very quickly. We can recommend a day out to Cheddar Gorge. - Collins
10/10 - Fantastic property, so well designed. Perfect for families. Swimming pool was a big hit for everyone. Safe enclosed garden with good play facilities. As we arrived in very hot weather, the bedrooms would have benifited from having fans in them. This was the only minor thing. - Nicol
10/10 - The children really enjoyed the swimming pool and the adults the table tennis. It was a perfect stay and cannot think of any improvement. - Benson
9/10 - Enjoyed: Firstly the website provided everything we needed to know from key access code to which supermarkets did the online deliveries. The welcome from property manager Helen was fabulous, friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble for her which was very welcoming. The pool was separate so was lockable which worked wonders for the toddlers and children who only had access when us parents allowed it, brilliant! Suggestions: It would be ideal to have an additional cupboard where non refrigerated food could be stored. Other than that we had the most fabulous weekend and most impressed with Cockercombe. We’ll definitely be booking through Sleeps 12 again for our family gatherings. Thank you. - Hart
8/10 - We loved our accommodation so much we didn’t want to leave. - Cockercombe is ideal for a large family or friends get together. The accommodation offers very comfortable furnishings, high quality facilities and ample equipment for self catering. Our main criticism relates to the size of the kitchen which is far too small for number of bedrooms and the range cooker which was of no use to us (too complicated). - Williams
8/10 - We booked to spend the weekend with family so didn't go out apart from a walk to The Rising Sun in the village. Lovely pub. A coffee maker would have been nice. - Ranger
10/10 - Nicest holiday cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. The swimming pool is excellent and customer care is great. We can recommend days out to Lynmouth & Lynton; Tarr Steps Exmoor; Dunster & Porlock Weir.- O'Neill
9/10 - The whole family enjoyed the swimming pool very much, don’t think we’ll be allowed to book another holiday home without one! The house was very well equipped, & the two minor problems we had were dealt with very quickly & efficiently.- O'Neill
8/10 - I asked some of the group for their feedback: - Thank you so much for an amazing time. I loved the outdoor seating area and the pool. Showers were really nice and hot. - A superb cottage in a beautiful setting, beds were super comfortable and kitchen had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend! - A really nice cottage, in a lovely setting. Very well equipped kitchen and highly recommended. - Amazing, lovely rooms, BBQ and outside area was great but only thing I would say is that I wish they had proper showers in the upstairs bathroom as we had to hold the shower head! X- Shaylor
8/10 - Dunster Castle, Porlock and Porlock Weir, walks in the Quantocks and Exmoor National Park. The house was comfortable and well placed for visiting local attractions and the sea. It is ideal for children having a small swimming pool, table tennis, table football and a climbing frame with a grassy area for games. - Welsh
8/10 - Lovely walking all around. - Goddard
9/10 - Property was very well equipped perfect for a large family.- Rees
10/10 - All 12 of us really enjoyed the whole place and all commented on how wonderful everything was. - Newey
9/10 - We really enjoyed our stay, we had 7 grand children and 6 adults.- Russell
9/10 - Nice touch to have a cake left for us, the facilities were excellent, also the swimming pool, table tennis and children's playground, would love to visit in the summer. Having 3 children in our party which included two 1 year olds our chosen days out were governed by this, we would, however, recommend the Ferne Animal Sanctuary and also the West Somerset Steam Railway. - Mathias
10/10 - We thought the property was very clean & very well equipped. Toys & games for the children, swimming pool outdoors space all excellent. Would definitely recommend it. - Dench
9/10 - Only one comment/improvement. The two boys who were wheelchair dependent found the beds a little high and not easy to transfer to and from them. - Hucker Group
10/10 - Everything was great and we had an amazing stay. We did have to squeeze to fit 13 round the table but it was fine. Overall highly recommended amazing house. - Nuttall Family
10/10 - The property was really lovely. The beds, duvets and pillows were really comfortable. The property was clean and well kept and spacious. We would book again. - Mitrovic Family
10/10 - The house was beautiful and everything thought out well, everything you could need during our stay was already in place. Thank you for an amazing weekend. Watchet was lovely, other than that there was no need to leave the house! - Peel Family
8/10 - We enjoyed our stay although the kitchen arrrangement didn't allow for enough food storage (2 fridges) and arrangement difficult at times for 3 or 4 adults to work in particular with baby equipment. The open plan arrangement was excellent for our family. We would recommend days out to Dunster Castle the Steam Train to Minehead and Torre Cider Farm. - Young Family
10/10 - Loved the large living space so we could all spend time together. The adults appreciated having the en suite bathrooms and plenty of seating. However the biggest hit with the children was the pool. A wonderful stay. And we'd recommend Diggerland for a day out - the kids loved it! - Amato Family
9/10 - House great! Recommend local walks and Dunster Beach if you have a dog. - Parsons Family
10/10 - We had a lovely time. The kids and adults all enjoyed the pool. I cannot think of any improvements, it was perfect! We ventured out to Minehead beach for the day which is recommended! - Begum Family
9/10 - We loved the house. So comfortable and good outside space. I would just say that our guests that had a bath instead of a shower cubicle in their ensuite, missed an over head shower in the bath. I think that if this was offered in each of the bathrooms with baths, the house would be perfect. I have never stayed in a house that was so well equipped. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back. - Berry Family
10/10 - The welcome we received from Helen started our celebratory weekend off to a really good start. The accommodation was exactly as described and perfect for our family of 8 adults and 4 children to enjoy a relaxing weekend. - Brown
10/10 - A family group of 12 of us (aged from 58 to 8 months) stayed at Cockercombe to celebrate my husband's 50th Birthday. I felt the need to write and congratulate you on the property - it's wonderful and truly exceeded all our expectations. Although there were 12 of us under one roof we never felt on top of each other or restricted in any way, it's so spacious, light and clean. The pool was used at least once a day and due to the very kind weather we even made use of the BBQ a couple of times!! A great time was had by all and we hope to return to Cockercombe in the very near future. - Barrow
10/10 - All had a great break, the lodge is very comfortable and well equipped and the pool has been well used by us all. - Pane
