Hamble House is a large modern house providing luxury group accommodation for 16-26* people. It's perfect for celebrations, self catering corporate breaks and for happy family holidays and reunions. The setting is a quiet village on the banks of the River Hamble that’s a popular spot for sailing with its small harbour and marina. The air is distinctly maritime and if you stroll around you’ll see that Warsash has some interesting independent shops including a butchers and a bakers, and several cafes, restaurants and inns. Southampton and Portsmouth are both just a short drive away.

With everything that Hamble House has to offer you may not feel the need to go anywhere; if you fancy a stroll there’s access to the river from the gardens. Go and soak up the wonderful maritime atmosphere or put your boots on and stroll to Swanwick or Lee-on-Solent, or pick up the Strawberry Trail – good for cycling too! Get on the water with Hamble River Boat Charter or catch the pink ferry across the river to Hamble-Le-Rice, a quaint cobbled fishing village where you can go crabbing.

Within a few miles you’ll find plenty to interest you - Portchester Castle, Titchfield Abbey and The Brickworks Museum should satisfy those with a passion for history. Nature lovers will enjoy the River Hamble Country Park and Hook with Warsash Local Nature Reserve. If you have children with you have an afternoon out at Manor Farm & Country Park, or explore the New Forest and take them to Peppa Pig World or one of the many attractions at Beaulieu. If cars are your thing, that’s where the National Motor Museum is, or about an hour way there’s Goodwood.

Of course, this area is renowned for sailing so Hamble House is a great base if you’re going to Southampton International Boat Show or to Cowes Week. Golfers will find several good clubs around these parts, including Skylark Golf & Country Club, cricket fans can catch a match at the Ageas Bowl.

Spend a day in Southampton where you can visit SeaCity Museum or the Tudor House & Garden; pop to Portsmouth and go the Historic Dockyard to see the Mary Rose and HMS Victory, shop till you drop at Gunwharf Quays and admire the panoramic views from the Spinnaker Tower. Hop on the ferry over to the Isle of Wight for the day to visit Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle or Butterfly World. It’s not far to Winchester either; visit the magnificent cathedral or Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium.
